Happy New Years!!

So, I know I’ve been a terrible blogger lately, but it is the very last day of 2012 (at least it still is here where I live!), and I couldn’t let the occasion pass without saying something. Mostly, it’s a whole lot of

THANK YOU

2012 has been amazing in so many ways. It’s certainly been an amazing debut year, and so much of that is thanks to all of you. Thank you for reading this blog and leaving comments. Thank you for replying to my crazy tweets on twitter. Thank you for blogging about WHAT’S LEFT OF ME, spreading the news about its cover release (still think I hit the cover jackpot with it!!), and the book’s actual release into the world. Thank you for going out and buying the book and sharing it with friends and sending me emails and asking me for interviews and drawing fan art. You’re all overwhelmingly awesome, and I’m so very appreciative.

Hopefully, I’ll go on to have a great many more book release years, but 2012 will always be the very first, and I couldn’t have asked for a better community of readers and bloggers and fellow writers to share it with. Seriously.

I hope I’ll get to meet many of you in person some day :) If any of you ever do come to one of my events, definitely let me know who you are! (if I know you on twitter, might want to print out your avatar pic, haha). I’d love to put a face with an internet presence :)

So, yes, must get back to ONCE WE WERE (hooray for book 2!) edits and preparing for the New Years party tonight, but I just wanted to make sure I said thanks for everything. Hope you guys all have absolutely fantastic 2013s, and that we are able to continue sharing times together—about books, writing, travel, and more!

P.S. I did a post on Harper’s EpicReads blog a couple days ago about “The Year of Taking Crazy Chances.” You can leave a comment to win a gift from me :)

P.P.S I wish I could give everyone a copy of WLoM, but sadly, I haven’t that many books! I did, however, pick three winners for the ONCE WE WERE title release giveaway, and they are…

Brittney
Sabrina Maree Beilharz
Danielle Duffield

Congrats!
