Yes, and this after promising to be better with my blogging schedule! Life has been kinda craaazzy, but in a good way :) All my blog-writing words have been put into Book 2, and finals, and answering emails. I seriously need to answer more emails. If you've emailed me, and I haven't replied yet, I swear I shall get to it asap! Sorry :(
So, um, I had this whole post written out (on paper, in the middle of class, shhh) about NaNoWriMo and how great it is, and rah rah rah, but I came home for Thanksgiving break and left said sheet of paper at school, so...oops.
I DID however, do an interview with the lovely people at NaNo, so here's that, if you'd like to see :)
I also got the German cover of WHAT'S LEFT OF ME, which I LOVE! They call it TWIN SOULS over there, since apparently "What's left of me" doesn't translate so well.
Can't wait to see all the other foreign covers, yeah? We just sold to Spain, too, which is really just SO exciting for me because it's the only foreign language so far that I can read ;)
Hmm, what else?
Well, I walked into Barnes & Nobles the other day and saw this! A Christmas tree made out of THE CASUAL VACANY by JK Rowling and...
Yup. WHAT'S LEFT OF ME! How awesome is that?? :D
I was quite excited, let me tell you ;)
OH, and can't forget--WHAT'S LEFT OF ME was reviewed in the NYTimes!! Woah. Never, ever expected that!
So, yeah, lots of exciting things have been happening, and there are more exciting things to come! :) I hope you guys have all been having wonderful winters, as well (unless, of course, you're in the middle of summer!).
Happy Thanksgiving week to the Americans!
Back to working on Book 2 now...
